(More customer reviews)I purchased this and installed it in a 2008 Chevy Silverado. When I finished insulation I found everything working great but one thing, the radio would not always shut off when getting out of the truck with the ignition off. I contacted Metra about this and they verified that the part I have needed a software update. I ask if I receive old stack form AMAZON and they said no, that it has the latest software that on the shelf but they have a new update to correct this.
When ask about how and where to return I was told to ship to their Florida address and that they would cover the return shipping. THAT I would have to pay to ship it to them. That is not right for the consumer to have to incur a cost for a manufacturer's defect! AND it would take a two week turn around.
That is the way they do business.. they will NOT get anymore from me.
We have lost a lot of good companies in the economy how does one like this stay in business???Thank you AMAZON for the quick shipping
