(More customer reviews)I have never liked the rear end jacked up, as all stock pickups are built. I did some research and ended up here chosing the right lowering shackles for my 2008 Silverado 1500 LT. Before starting, I measured from the floor to the bottom of the wheel well and the rear was 3 inches higher than the front. This Belltech kit lowered the rear 3 inches, making my Chevy ride level, and handle like a sports car. It takes curves like it is on rails. I am 60 years old, and I installed it in 2 hours, following the great instructions provided. I have only praise for the folks at Belltech that made the job easier. They even had clear pictures of before and after. The only reason it took so long was that I had to lower the factory installed trailer hitch, for clearance to remove the lower shackle bolt. I would sugggest this kit to anyone that wants their truck to handle better.
