(More customer reviews)I thought it felt like the exhaust back pressure was holding my engine back--especially when I let off the gas--so I figured the cat was stopped up (among other things, but hey...181,000 is a lot of miles) and I got this stuff. I'd never used liquid catalytic converter cleaner before, so I didn't know what to expect and was a little skeptical. I wasn't completely disappointed though; it did help. That being said though, this is not a miracle in a bottle. Unless you pour it in every 3 months like it says on the bottle, it probably won't do a whole lot of good long-term, but again like I said, it did help. I do recommend using this in conjunction with another fuel additive...a good one like Lucas 10020 Upper Cylinder Lubrication & Injector Cleaner 5.25 oz. (don't waste your money on Slick50, Gumout, or Prestone...they make no difference). I don't recommend using both at the same time though...that just sounds like a fouled O2 sensor waiting to happen. Use the Cataclean as directed, let it cycle through for a couple weeks or until your tank is empty, then go buy the Lucas and fill up again. You'll notice a difference within a day or 2. I'd say this is worth the investment, but don't expect it to be a one-bottle fix-all.
