I have it wired to run after the car is shut off to cool it off after the quick trip down the track. I would not recommend this on a daily driver. I don't think it would be enought for stop and go traffic on a hot day.

Mr. Gasket Electric Water Pump Drive Kit is designed to alleviate the power drag produced by conventional pulley drive units. A heavy duty electric motor turning at approximately 1,500 RPM answers cooling needs without draining horsepower from the engine. The unit can be turned on / off manually even with the engine off. The kit is complete with 12 volt electric motor, mounting brackets, extra long bolts, spline pulleys, drive belts, wiring and switch.
